An iconic and recognisable piece from Philo’s tenure at ChloéIn 2003, Bay Garnett styled Kate Moss for British Vogue's first ever editorial (shot by Juergen Teller) that used only secondhand pieces, and one of the most enduring images from this series featured a $5 banana print top that Barnett found in a New York thrift store. Inspired by this irreverent novel find, Phoebe Philo recreated a similar print for the SS04 collection, making it a vintage-collector holy grail piece on multiple levels.
